Milo
"I first saw this special kitten in December 2009. I had gone to the shelter to volunteer with my Mom and actually helped name this cat family. His black heart- shaped nose really stood out and he was full of personality. At the time, I was not considering adoption as I already had a 13 year old Maine Coon mix at home. By February, Milo was the only one left unadopted out of his litter of three kittens and mom. He became very lonely and sick at the shelter. (Thanks to all the PAWS volunteers who cared for him!) After considering and fostering Milo on Facebook, I adopted him on February 14, 2010. This housekitty now lives by the Albemarle Sound in Columbia, NC, and can watch ducks waddle around the yard and crabbers go out in their boats. Of course, he loves visits and overnights with his “Grandmeow” in Ahoskie. He is the perfect “velcro” kitten! Whereever I go, he is not far behind. He plays with other family cats and any toy he is offered. Milo even fetches and returns toy mice to my hands. This wonderfully naughty cat has no fears. He loves to be in high places and chase bugs. He's always busy, but is also very lovable and sweet. I couldn’t have asked for a better Valentine kitten!" {Dare Allen, Columbia, NC}
Rosie
From Diana Germain:
Rosie has been great, she walks with me in the morning and sometimes with Jim at night. She is used to us now and she's such a loving animal. She is spoiled rotton now.
No problems and she is a good dog! Thank you so much!!!! She has been a blessing to our family; the cat dosent complain much either.
Alice
"Hi Ann,
Just wanted to let you know how Alice is adjusting to her new home. The first night she spent the whole night in my daughter's bedroom, cuddled up to her. The next day she explored the house and has found at least 4 hiding places. But I think her favorite place is sitting on the back of the couch. I've attached some pictures so you can see how comfortable she is. She is hungry for attention always in our lap looking for a rub or cuddling up to our faces. She has found her forever home. Thank you so much for everything you did to make this happen. I didn't realize how much I missed having a cat around until she came home with us.
God bless,"
