Roger

This big handsome fellow who has the run of the Hertford County Animal Shelter once lived in a shelter cage, awaiting an adoption that never came. Roger was not at all happy being confined in a cage for so long. Because he had become such a popular guy, he was taken off to the vet for a little surgery, then brought back home to be the Official Shelter Office Cat. Roger now is the very happy meeter and greeter, desk messer-upper, and all-around good buddy to all paid and volunteer shelter workers. He enjoys observing the temporary residents of his home, and is especially fond of sauntering past the dog runs, letting all the canines know who is the boss around here.
